How to Check Your Hard Disk for Errors

When you are using your computer regularly you need to keep up with computer maintenance. Checking your hard disk is one of the task. You can always improve performance of your computer by making sure hard disk has no errors.

Steps to Check Your Hard Disk for Errors

• Open My Computer
• Right click on the hard disk drive you want to check
• Click Properties
• Click Tools tab and then under Error-checking click Check now

If you are prompted for Administrator Password or confirmation then provide the password or provide confirmation.
